I’ve never been into working out, but since I’ve gone to the group personal training class I’m really enjoying it. Scott makes you feel welcome from the first time and makes sure you know everyone. He thinks he’s really funny so it makes the time go by fast. I like that I can go at my own pace but am still continually challenged and leave with a great workout. Definitely recommend if you’re looking to get fit, join a workout community and occasionally hear a good joke or two.
I’ve done boot camps, personal training, and group training with Scott. I must say my favorite is probably the boot camps because I enjoy the intensity (and Scott and I share a love of horrible pop 80’s tunes) but they’re all great! I’m a teacher so my days are long and sometimes make it so I can’t get in to workout. However, Scott always texts me when he hasn’t seen me for a few days, which is awesome for someone who needs that accountability. Also he laughs at my awful jokes (and I his) so that’s nice- plus his dog is pretty neat too!
I’ve been training with Scott for about a year and a half now, and it’s been great. I do the boot camps and the group personal training and have gotten a lot stronger over these 18 months. We do a good mix of cardio, weights, machines and body weight exercises. I like the variety in workouts especially when going between group personal training and the bootcamps. The other folks in the group make it fun so all in all, I’d say it’s worth checking out if you are looking for a positive experience and a relaxed environment. He pushes you, but is of more encouraging rather than yelling.
