Best Exercises for Results
All working out is basically adaptation to change. You sit on your butt for years and you get soft. You start lifting weights are your body gets harder. Sounds pretty simple right? So, what are the Best Exercises for Results? The ones you don’t do! New stuff, change, what you haven’t been doing at the gym week in and week out. If you’ve been doing straight bar bench press for months, try doing dumbbells instead, or just do pushups for a while. If you do the elliptical all the time, but hate running, throw in a day of running. Yes, even if you stink at it! Yes, even if you can’t run a block. Start with a block, them do two, then a mile, and so on.
Remember when you first started working out? You saw changes pretty quickly right? It’s not only that those exercises are great and yield results, it’s because they were new to your body. Your body was not used to them, so it adjusted. Now you want to see new and ever better results, but they just aren’t coming. So now what? Bring new exercises, another change. Lift heavier weights, get more reps, throw in some high intensity cardio, anything that you haven’t been doing! Get that heart rate up, hit new goals, try new exercises, combine exercises together.
